He is a man of many rules and few morals. Growing up as a mercenary’s son and as a mercenary himself, Ramose learned little of morality and much about discipline. He applies this very much to how he rules. He cares little for what is right and what is wrong in reality and more about what is beneficial and what is harmful to himself and his cause. He makes his laws based on how they can help strengthen his empire and not on how they can protect the citizen, but in many ways, this is what has made him so successful.
Despite being somewhat cold, Aldebaran does have a strong love for his dead wife and his only son. He cherishes his son greatly and has devoted much of his time harnessing his own boy’s future. Aldebaran strives to be the ultimate father figure and has successfully, single handedly raised his son in the absence of his wife. He is often times admired by his soldiers for this nature in him as it makes them feel as if he truly cares as a leader about his nation. In many ways this is true. He strives for the health of the economy and strength of the country, but not so much about the protection and rights of the citizen.
Ramose is tactical when it comes to fighting and to ruling. He leads all his battles in a way that is often times seen as something new and revolutionary. He plans his battles to give his men the upper hand and minimize the death toll. Growing up as a mercenary has made him very verse in battle techniques. In ways of ruling, Aldebaran has a simple easy approach to how to handle societal problems. People who are a threat to the empire and who break his laws will become slaves. People who are prisoners of war will become slaves. People that he detests will become slaves. It is simple and Aldebaran’s hand has no limit.
All in all, Aldebaran is a very strong and fearless man. He never waivers in his decisions and is as strict as he is unforgiving. He is clever and often times cold to others however, he is a phenomenal speaker and a convincing leader. He took over Alcos because he has a vision of uniting the world in one successful multi empire and therefore he cares very much for its health and standing.
Appearance: At the age of forty, Aldebaran is still in his prime of life. He stands at his tallest of six feet seven inches and is very broad and muscular. The condition of his body is due to his once mercenary lifestyle and his rigorous daily training within the walls of the Golden Palace. He is quick; he is strong; he is lean but it comes at an exhausting cost. Aldebaran has black hair and a beard that circles around his mouth. Streaks of grey riddle his hair, hinting at his age. He has dark brown eyes that rest under a heavy set of eye brows. His face is very angled and handsomely featured though the cut above his left eye and through his left eyebrow hardens Aldebaran a bit.
Weaponry: Aldebaran’s weapon of choice is a shamsir. It is a saber with a curve of fifteen degrees. He also carries with him a dagger.
